I worked in the studio every day of January -April 2021. I produced new paintings and submitted work into online virtual exhibitions and physical ones. I am also half-way through a 7-week creative class with UAS in England. It has been challenging but very worthwhile. Some sketches…and me in the woods sketching.
I will be participating in the West Cork Creates 2021- Home Ground exhibition, in August in Skibereen, Participate | West Cork Creates list of the participants
Looking forward to showing with www.theholyart.com for the next show, FAÇADE a physical exhibition April 24th -28. 2021 because of Brexit and covid I will be sending a mounted print of my work to this show.
A virtual exhibition with two paintings “Step into Silence” and “Moments in Time”. This was one of the coolest virtual exhibitions I have ever seen, not to mind be in. The gallery was very professional and friendly.

Poem by Michéal O' Cionnfhaolaidh
Grá in am na Cóibhide
Ó thosach na cóibhide
Tá an saol cúngaithe
Agus tá sé éasca bheith caillte
Fiú taobh istigh de chiorcal sriantach
De chúig chiliméadar.
Ach tá mé tar éis titim i ngrá!
Tá mé ar thóir eachtraíochta
Mo shúile leathnaithe ag féidearthacht
Thit mé i ngrá inné
Le seangheata ar shiúil mé thairis go minic
A d’oscail radharc, nach bhfaca mé cheana,
A lean síos go dtí Iarnród ar bhruach abhann,
An t-ór-ghaoth ag séideadh ó na ráillí
Trí shlua feadán ag luascadh.
Laethanta iad seo gan dáta gan ainm.
Caithfear an fothram
A fhágaint i do dhiaidh
Lorg an úire sa chríonna.
Foghlaim as an nua.
Caithfear titim i ngrá arís
Love in the time of Covid
From the beginning of Covid
Life has narrowed
And it is easy to be lost
Even within a limiting circle
Of five kilometres.
But I have fallen in love!
I am in search of adventure
My eyes widened by possibility
I fell in love yesterday
With an old gate I walked past often
Which opened a view I had not seen before
Which lead to a railway on the bank of a river
The gold wind blowing from the tracks
Through a crowd of reeds swaying.
These are days without date without name
One must leave
The noise behind
Look for the fresh in the old
Learn a new
One must fall in love again
