Oh My July, was painted in July.

When the lockdown was first announced I bought a cheap pool for the garden. I thought we wouldn’t have been allowed to leave our homes/gardens!

This is my daughter swimming in July. It was too cold before that to stay for too long in the pool. This song came into my head as I painted it.

July please,

I’m on my knees,

the smell of your fresh cut grass,

your blue sky grins

for all its sins…
